Zum Auftakt der Ringvorlesung "Heilige in Ost- und Südosteuropa" laden das Institut für Klassische Archäologie das Institut für Theologie und Geschichte des Christlichen Ostens sowie die Forschungsplattform "Wiener Osteuropaforum" ein zur Eröffnungsvorlesung mit Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rudolf Prokschi: "Kirill und Method: Slawenapostel, nationale Identitätsfiguren und Patrone Europas" (11. Oktober 2010, 18:30 Uhr, Hörsaal 48, Stiege 8, 2. Stock, Hauptgebäude der Universität Wien).

 Senior Fellowships at CJH

The Center for Jewish History offers fellowships to senior scholars through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The awards support original research at CJH in the humanities, including but not limited to Jewish studies, Russian and East European studies, American studies and Germanic studies, as well as musicology, linguistics, anthropology, sociology and history. Deadline for applications: December 15, 2010.
