The workshop Transatlantic Dialogues. Eastern Europe, The U.S., and Post-Cold War Cultural Spaces is organized within the framework of the Fifth International Conference of the Romanian Association for American Studies, "The Sense of America. Histories into Text".

Europa: Viele Wege - ein Ziel? | Eigene Wege in Europa - So lautet der Titel einer Großveranstaltung der gemeinsamen Forschungsnetzwerke forost - Forschungsverbund Ost- und Südosteuropa und fortrans - Forschungsverbund Transnationale Netzwerke am 25. Januar 2008. Sechs Jahre Forschungsarbeit werden in der Bayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften in München präsentiert.
