The Karazin's Readings - 61st Conference of the Young Scientists

The Student's Scientific Society of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Department of History has organized the 61st conference of the Young Scientists entitled The Karazin's Readings. The conference will take place on April, 25, 2008 at Karazin Kharkiv National University in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Registration:
Participant registration is on April 25 from 10:00 till 11:30, in the University’s main building (Svobody square 4) room 5-59. The conference begins at 12:00.
The registration form for conference participants and an abstract of your report (obligatory!) are to be sent by February 25, 2008 to the Student's Scientific Society of Historical Department V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University email sno@univer.kharkov.ua and should be marked "Theme: The 61 Karazin's readings".
The registration fee is 35 grivnas (about 5 €). All abstracts which pass selection by the organizing committee will be printed prior to the start of the conference. The best reports will be recommended for an edition of the scientific collection of works Aktualni problemy vichyznianoi ta vsevitnioi istorii.
The registration form should include:
- Institution
- Position
- Full name
- Title of the report
- Supervisor (position, scientific degree)
- A direction of work (section)
- Hostel requirement
- Contact phone, e-mail
- Necessity of the personal invitation
- Technical equipment for report
The registration form for participation in the conference should be sent together with an abstract of your report (in a format compatible with Microsoft Word), and should be up to 3,000 character in length, including spaces. It should including the following information, in this order: author; educational institution; the text without figures, tables, references and list of the literature. Only standard abreviations are allowed.
The organizing committee has the right to accept or decline abstracts for participation in the conference. The applications sent without abstracts will not be considered. In the case there is a recommendation for publication by organizing committee, the author will receive an invitation to take part in the conference by the end of March, 2008.
The working languages of conference are Ukrainian, Russian, English.
