This Call for papers is mainly addressed to young scholars (ABDs, Post-docs, Assistant-Professors, etc.), who are working in the field of East-European and Russian Studies/Philosophy; they are hereby cordially invited to submit abstracts on these or any other issues related to the topic Thinking in/after Utopia. East-European and Russian Philosophy before and after the Collapse of Communism. The conference (organized by the Havighurst Center for Russian & Post-Soviet Thought, Miami University of Ohio) will take place from 27 to 30 October, 2005.

The person(s) appointed will be working on a project entitled Knowledge-based entrepreneurship: innovation, networks and systems (KEINS) funded by the EC Framework-VI Specific Targeted Research Programme (STREP).

And here is the next Summer course announcement, this time by the BNE Team, organized by Young European Federalists Slovenia in cooperation with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Association for Political Science Students, POLITUSS.
The two-week long advanced summer course on European Affairs respectively the International Summer University BRAVE NEW EUROPE 2005 ("Dinner for 25") will take place in Ljubljana, July 3 - 16, 2005 (and the Application deadline is May 10, 2005).
