Two Conferences have to be announced. The first one starts next week (April 7-10 2005, Central European University, Budapest): Academic Migrations, Elite Formation and Modernisation of Nation States in Europe (second part of the 19th century - 1939)
The Conference languages will be English, French and German.
The other one starts at the End of April (28.4.-30.4.2005; in in Königswinter [near Bonn]): Policy Towards the Jews in the Newly Founded States of Southeastern and East Central Europe During the Interwar Period. A Comparative Index of Crisis and Identity-Policy
The Conference languages will be English and German.
