The Department of History at the McGill University (Montreal, Quebec) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in Eastern European history, effective 1 September 2006. A research specialization in the nineteenth or twentieth centuries is preferred.
The successful candidate should hold a PhD and show promise of excellence in teaching and scholarly research. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses is required.
