Oxford University Press announced the publication of two new titles on minority rights:

National Minority Rights in Europe and The Rights of Minorities. A Commentary on the European Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities.

(Das wäre wohl auch kulturwissenschaftlich gesehen höchst interessant; zu hoffen ist jedenfalls, dass die in der Folge zu annoncierende Veranstaltung mit der notwendigen Vorsicht agiert und ohne gröbere Naivität auskommt, dann könnte es großartig werden und nicht meine Ente für dieses Sommerloch...)

The Italian Design Agency, an international cultural marketing and organisational body working in the field of design and based in Milan, Italy, is calling on designers from East European countries to participate in an exhibition project scheduled for opening in 2006, to be shown at major museums around the world: Design from East European countries.
