The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) has recently published a call for application for its Junior Visiting Fellowship for a scholar from UKRAINE for the Term 2011/2012. The program which is organized in cooperation with the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe in Lviv supports research on the legacies of Europe in the history of Ukraine. The Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung Potsdam (Center of Contemporary History Potsdam) invites applications for the position of a Research fellow (m/f) (TV-L E 13/E 14). Candidates for this position should hold a Ph.D. in the Humanities and Social Sciences with a focus on East European and East Central European contemporary history. The new editor will succeed Professor Diethelm Prowe, who will retire at the end of 2011.
