[ Cultural Studies ]

Since the summer of 1998 an interdisciplinary working group Kulturwissenschaften / Cultural Studies exists at the University of Vienna. One of the major outputs of the team's project-work was the idea of a series of international graduate conferences in the fields of Kulturwissenschaften / Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna. The format 'graduate-conference' is internationally very successful but so far not established at the Austrian faculties of Humanities. Graduate conferences like the upcoming on Cultures of Love give young researchers the opportunity to present and discuss their projects within an international context.
