Elena Messner (Wien) / Antonia Rahofer (Innsbruck): Unerhört / Überhört: AkteurInnen und repräsentative Figuren des literarischen und politischen Lebens in Serbien, Kroatien, Bosnien und Slowenien nach 1991

Ausgehend von einem Vergleich ausgewählter AutorInnen soll die Funktion der Schriftsteller, ihre Politisierung und teilweise Vereinnahmung von stark außerliterarischen Inhalten exemplifiziert werden.

Based on the comparison of selected authors, the function of writers, their politicization and their partial induction of strongly extra literary contents will be exemplified. This happens on the one hand  by looking at their biography and on the other hand on their essayistic, essentially unilateral writings, by which in a next step the role and function of literature and litterateurs in post-communist, post-Yugoslavian post-war states Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia are deducible.
