Das Research Network 1989 ist ein mit Mitteln der EU gefördertes Projekt zur Erforschung des Wendejahres 1989. Ein Verbund von WissenschaftlerInnen und Institutionen diskutiert und erforscht sowie informiert über politische, ökonomische, soziologische etc. Aspekte und Diskurse rund um 1989. Zu regelmäßigen Einreichfristen nimmt das Netzwerk nach Begutachtung neue Mitglieder auf.
