The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna calls for applications for its Milena Jesenská Fellowships for European Journalists 2010/2011. Deadline for applications: April 9, 2010. This Fellowship program offers European cultural journalists working in print, broadcast and electronic media time off from their professional duties in order to pursue in-depth research on a European topic of their choice.  

The call for applications is directed towards cultural journalists, with the term 'cultural' interpreted in a broad sense to encompass a wide variety of artistic and intellectual fields. Their work may deal with any topic related to cultural issues of European relevance, especially having to do with the issue of European integration.

Fellowships are not intended for entry-level journalists or students.
