The research project "Governing difference. A Challenge for New Democracies in Central and South Eastern European Countries" is currently looking for 4 junior researchers (pre-Doc/half-time) who are familiar with gender studies and the situation in CEE or SEE (deadline: 17 October):

Start: December 1, 2006; Duration: 2 years and 6 months.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Law or political science, excellent knowledge of English and ONE of the following languages: Slovenian, Bulgarian, Croatian, or Bosnian.

Further qualifications: Familiarity with Gender
Studies and the situation in Central and South Eastern Europe,
openness for teamwork.

We offer:
Cooperation in the institutionalization of a new research cluster at
Vienna University at the interface of gender, religion and culture in
Central and South Eastern Europe.
