Intern profile :

• Graduate or post-graduate student in area of international relations, political science, development, or experienced NGO activist;
• Interested, motivated on working on regional issues;
• Good knowledge of civil society and some knowledge on civil society in the region;
• Excellent knowledge in spoken and written English;
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, Power Point and web editing);
• Flexible, resourceful, confident, team player and able to assist with a variety of different tasks simultaneously;
• Good communication skills;
• Knowledge of local languages (Macedonian, Serbian, Croatia , Bosnian, Albanian, Bulgarian, Romanian) preferred and previous experiences in working with CSOs preferred.

Expected tasks :

• to assist in organizing, administering ongoing BCSDN projects;
• to be responsible for managing individual project stages or task of related to BCSDN projects (incl. coordination with BCSDN partners, organization of activities, administration);
• to assist in developing information-sharing activities (including identification, selection and editing of relevant news articles, help with up-dating BCSDN website);
• to conduct targeted research on different issues for the needs of BCSDN.

The intern will assist and be responsible to the Coordinator of the BCSDN Secretariat.
