2nd International Festival of Young Filmmakers 2005, October 3.-9. in Miskolc, Hungary

The International Festival of Young Filmmakers offers an opportunity to introduce oneself and to participate in a contest to those young filmmakers, who send their entry to any of the contest’s category from anywhere of the world.
The participating films in each category will be rewarded and the festival award will be money-prized. The director of the films entered cannot be more than 35 years old. During the festival several accompanying programmes will be organised: conference, exhibition, filmmaker-audience meetings. These provide an opportunity to the participating filmmakers to exchange ideas, to get familiar with Hungarian and European sponsorship possibilities, to initiate future cooperation, to learn about and participate in professional workshops.

Entries are welcome from anywhere of the world, there is no entry-fee. The screenings of the films chosen by the pre-jury will be held between the 3rd and 9th of October 2005 in the Kossuth and Hevesy Art-cinemas, in Miskolc (Hungary). The prizes will be awarded by an international panel of experts.
