A conference to be held at the University of Münster, Cluster of Excellence “Religion and Politics”, Germany, 18-20 June 2010. Deadline is 31 March, 2010.

Am 4. und 5. März werden in Leipzig die südOsteuropäischen Filmtage "Umbruch 1989/90. Cineastische Spurensuche in südOsteuropa." präsentiert. Die Dokumentar-, Spiel-und Kurzfilme aus Bulgarien, Slowenien, Polen, Tschechien und Ungarn zeigen das alltägliche Leben in sozialistischen Systemen, die Entwicklung subkultureller Initiativen als Abgrenzung zum herrschenden politischen System und die gesellschaftlichen Umbrüche vor und nach der politischen Wende.  Wissenschaftliche Inputs ergänzen die Filmvorführungen.
