The Center for European Integration (ASTEI) of the Freie Universität Berlin invites applications for a post-doctoral position for an EU funded project on "Transatlantic  Relations and Global Governance" (TRANSWORLD). The current funding is available for two years (salary according to E 13 TV-L FU). Deadline for submissions: March 12, 2012.

 

Job Description:

• Post-doctoral position for EU funded project on "Transatlantic Relations and Global Governance" (TRANSWORLD)
• Research in the realm of "Transatlantic Relations and Global Governance"
• Communication with project partners
• Project management (budget control, oversight of accounting etc.)
• Supervision of researchers and student assistance

Required Qualification: PhD/ Doctoral degree in political science with excellent dissertation

Desired Qualification:

• Expertise in transatlantic relations, particularly human rights and democracy promotion policies (EU and US)
• additional expertise in international security
