[ Call for Papers-Call for Applications ]

Die österr.-ungar. Besatzungszeit in Bosnien-Herzegowina (1878-1918) / The Austro-Hungarian period in Bosnia-Herzegovina (1878-1918) was the title of the conference held in Antwerp by OCTANT, I was blogging about. Now we are preaparing the publication (Edotrial team: Raymond Detrez [Ghent], Ursula Reber [Vienna], Clemens Ruthner [Edmonton, Antwerpen]).

For the bilingual anthology of essays on the political and cultural impact of the Austro-Hungarian occupation and annexation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, we are inviting additional papers on the topic. We would like to encourage especially researchers from former Yugoslavia or Bosnia-Herzegovina to submit proposals (max. 1 page) for additional contributions (in German or in English) plus a short cv by September 15, 2005. The book will appear in 2006.

Please, send your proposals to Clemens Ruthner at octant@ua.ac.be with cc to Ursula Reber.
