[ Call for Papers - Call for Entries ]

The deadline for entries for the 6th edition of East Silver – documentary market specialized in Eastern and Central European documentary is 30th of July 2009.

East Silver has become the biggest internationally recognized database of creative documentary feature and television documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe. It will take place during the 13th International Documentary Film Festival Jihlava (October 27 – November 1, 2009).

Call for completed documentaries and rough cuts produced 2008 – 2009, English subtitled or English voiceover, with trailer (optional) + catalogue photos.

Submit your documentary via the online ENTRYFORM. More detailed informations and guidelines are available at www.eastsilver.net. --- See also the CfP from last year in this Blog.

Submissions are open throughout the whole year as all submitted titles are considered for East Silver Caravan and/or East Silver TV Focus (descriptions see below). Submission is also valid for International Documentary Film Festival Jihlava preselection.

East Silver partner festivals and markets strongly believe that the special quality and energy of East European documentaries will enchant festival-goers and television audiences all over the world.

East Silver TV Focus

Another activity of East Silver towards TV buyers and commissioning editors is recommendation of Eastern European docs made to fit broadcasters' slots.
