SEE London and the Balkans - Part 4
I know it has been a while, and this is now an attempt to resuscitate this weblog. In the meantime, I have moved East, albeit not far - just to the East End - and that is at the same time the explanation for the last long pause on ImagineSEE. Or rather, British Telekom and the weather are.
Anyway, no internet for two months plus two children plus school holidays equals no blogging - and not much information about the world as a whole and the Balkans in particular either...so I'll try to cover the bits and pieces that newspapers and the last days with my new shiny BT Home Hub have supplied in the next few postings...
First, here's a last chance to see...
SEE London and the Balkans - Part 3
Tomorrow night at the Barbican, the Bosnian singer Amira is going to perform with Taraf de Haidouks (watch the trailer to their dvd here). It is her first visit to the UK - read more in the Guardian.
Date and Time of the performances follow.....
SEE London and the Balkans - Part 2
How the status of Kosova impacts on Balkan stability
SEE London and the Balkans
As some attentive readers may have already noticed in previous posts, this blogger has now finally moved to London. Once the settling-in process has reached more comfortable levels and there is more time, I would like to dedicate more space to the London-Balkan relations I hope to discover - anyway, here is the first London/Balkan event announcement for December:
New Bosnian Cinema 2006
30 November – 3 December 2006
imagineSEE

The imagineSEE-weblog is a space about ideas, images, (re)inventions and (re)constructions of and about the Balkans, from outside and within SEE.
Any comments or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated, please use "Reply" at the end of each posting or post directly to Sabine Ballata.

This is a part of the collage 'The Black File' by Croatian artist Sanja Ivekovic, who will be represented at documenta 12 (16/6-23/9) in Kassel this year.
