The Association of Hungarian Documentary Film Directors - MADE (Magyar Dokumentumfilm Rendezők Egyesülete) - organises the Documentary Film Festival 13 Days of Hope (13 Nap Remény) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. The event started today in Budapest´s Puskin Cinema and will last until Wednesday (29nd).
 

The Festival programme consists of a competitive screening of 31 documentary works and several other non-competitive outstanding screenings, including premiers. Further sections are: The Revolution seen through the eyes of Foreigners, a collection of film material from the Hungarian National Film Archive, and propaganda films concerning the Revolution from the Kádár Era.
