The University of Illinois at Urban-Champaign has announced a Balkan Studies Workshop for Junior Scholars ("Building Balkan Studies: Integrating Multidisciplinary Perspectives") for June 2006. A variety of topics, including culture, arts and architecture, will be investigated in this forum. Full housing and travel grants will be made available to US citizens, while "very limited" housing grants will be offered to international applicants.
