Project Initiation Funding: Ottoman and Turkish Republic Studies
The British Institute at Ankara is pleased to announce a new funding round within its Project Initiation Funding scheme. In this round, the funds will be targeted specifically at pilot projects in the field of Ottoman and Turkish Republic Studies.
These are small grants to allow exploratory visits, small-scale pilot fieldwork and collaboration discussions to identify local partners to develop projects and assess their feasibility. The primary outcome against which they will be assessed is future project designs and grant applications. In many or perhaps most cases, the future funding bodies may not include the BIAA.
