Sofia Miscellanea - Part 6

[ Sofia Miscellanea ]

Last week in Sofia the Photo-Group NAOS opened a photograph exhibition
called "The City ant Its Symbols or the Space of Everyday Marvel".
All the "conceptual" information is in Bulgarian but it is not something that you will kill for. As a friend of mine noted:
I could not get a thing, man! My hard naturalistic (he is a physicist) head is not used to this kind of 'cultural' stuff.
Well, I shared his dizziness and now admit again that even with my culturological brought up I've read it twice... and still am not sure ;).

What is important are the photos, of course. What I felt is simple and cozy visual quietness.

Welcome to the [Sofia] weblog, a part of the Kakanien Revisited weblog network. The Team - Dimiter, Assen and Mira - all three PhD students in the Department of History and Theory of Culture at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" will try to create an image - although sometimes a faceted and incoherent one - of the Bulgarian academia, culture, ongoing events, ideas, realities and virtual spaces. All of you - our readers - are warmheartedly invited to join us in this endeavor with your comments and suggestions.
