Ferhadija Rehab

Ever wondered what happened to the Ferhadija mosque in Banja Luka, or rather its long-planned reconstruction? Well, according to a BCC radio program (here), there is indeed some progress. Read also a report of a visit to the site by our favourite Harvard librarian Andras Riedlmayer. There is now also a "rehabilitation" project website at ferhadija.ba (the Bosnian-language version has more info), including excerpts from S. Husedzinovic's 2005 book "Dokumenti Opstanka" (tr. into English here as "Documents of existence").
