Für den Themenschwerpunkt Iconic Turn sind Beiträge z.B. aus wahrnehmungsästhetischer, semiotischer, kulturanthropo¬logischer Perspektive, in denen Funktionsweisen, Kommunikationsstrategien, Rhetorik und Logik der Bilder, das Verhältnis von Bild und Text sowie der Bildbegriff selbst und die "neue Macht der Bilder" diskutiert werden.
Einreichschluss ist der 1. November 2005.
For the issue on the Iconic Turn articles from the perspective of aestethics, semiotics, and cultural anthropology, for instance, are welcome. They should discuss the functions, communication strategies, rhetoric and logic of images, the relationship between picture and text, as well as the term 'image' itself and the 'new power of images'.
Deadline for proposals is November 1, 2005.
