Die gemeinsam vom Gießener Zentrum Östliches Europa, dem Gießener International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture und der Universität Kazan' veranstaltete International Summer School (14.-20. September 2009) wird hat das Ziel, die aktuelle Debatte zu Kulturkontakten in Transformationsgesellschaften mit Blick auf das östliche Europa zu bündeln und innovative Projekte im interdisziplinären Vergleich zu diskutieren.
Bewerbungsschluss ist der 15. Mai 2009.
The International Summer School, organised jointly by the Giessen Center for Eastern European Studies, the Giessen International Graduate Center for the Study of Culture and the University of Kazan’ and funded by the Hessen Ministry for Higher Education, Research and the Arts (HMWK), aims to bring together current debates about cultural contact in transformation societies with a focus on eastern Europe and discuss innovative projects from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Deadline for application is May 15, 2009.
