Die Konferenz "Dritte Räume" lenkt ihren Fokus auf Homi K. Bhabhas Kulturtheorie. Ziel ist es, Bhabhas Theorie multiperspektivisch zu reflektieren, das Konzept des 'dritten Raumes' und andere Figurationen, die das Hybride denkbar machen, zu befragen und zu hinterfragen. Die Konferenz versteht sich als Beitrag zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses.
Die Konferenz findet vom 3.-5. April 2008 in Wien statt.
The conference "Dritte Räume" focuses on Homi K. Bhabha's cultural theory. The goal is to reflect on Bhabha's theory in a multi-perspective way, and to examine and question the »Third Spaces« concept and other figurations that make the hybrid conceivable. The conference will contribute to the promotion of young academics.
The conference will take place from 3-5 April 2008.
