Katedra filologii chorwackiej, serbskiej i słoweńskiej/ Department for Croatian, Serbian and Slovene Philology
Der Fachbereich für Kroatische, Serbische und Slowenische Philologie ist ein Teil des Institutes für Slawische Philologie an der Jagielloński Universität. Unter Verwendung moderner Forschungsansätze wird hier vor allem auf den zwei traditionellen Feldern der Philologie, der Linguistik und der Literaturkritik, geforscht. Diskursive Konstruktion von Ideologien und Kultur in übergangsgesellschaften sind aktuelle Forschungsschwerpunkte. Dazu als Beispiel, das von Professor Julian Kornhauser herausgegebene Werk: "Przemiany w świadomości i kulturze duchowej narodów Jugosławii po 1991 roku", Kraków 1999. Ein weiteres Sammelwerk "Searching a New Canon", herausgegeben von Maria Dąbrowska-Partyka, befindet sich derzeit in Vorbereitung und behandelt die ideologischen, linguistischen und diskursiven Veränderungen in post-jugoslawischen Gesellschaften. Die Hauptpublikation des Fachbereiches ist die Zeitschrift "Pamiętnik słowiański".

Dr. Maciej Czerwiński (Ph.D. Linguistics), zeitgenössische slawische Linguistik und Soziolinguistik, kritische Diskursanalyse, d.h. diskursive Konstruktion von nationalen Ideologien im post-jugoslawischen Raum (vor allem in Kroatien und Bosnien und der Herzegowina), Geopolitik des Balkans.

"Department for Croatian, Serbian and Slovene Philology” works mainly within two traditional fields of Philology: linguistics and literary criticism. The Department carries out its research in discursive constructions of ideologies and culture in the transitional societies. An example is: "Przemiany w świadomości i kulturze duchowej narodów Jugosławii po 1991 roku", Kraków 1999,, edited by professor Julian Kornhauser. A second anthology entitled Searching a New Canon, edited by professor Maria Dąbrowska-Partyka, is just to be published; it analyzes ideological, linguistic and discursive shifts within post-Yugoslav societies. The main publication of the Department is the periodical "Pamiętnik słowiański".
