Geschichte online - Eine E-Learning-Innovation im Rahmen des Geschichte-Studiums

Autoren

Geschichte Online offers online modules for internet-based teaching in the historical sciences, historical didactics and in historical/cultural study courses. The modules developed in this project are designed to be used as broadly as possible in both regular history studies and vocational training, especially in the introductory phase, in lectures and seminars as well as in specialist didactic instruction. All modules are based on the editorial database system VMS5, which was developed for the project's specific demands. Through the implicit train-the-trainer concept university teachers are also introduced to gradually using new media and e-learning.

The project "Geschichte online" is accomplished by Institute of Economic and Social History (University of Viennna), in collaboration with: Institute of History and Institute of Austrian Historical Research (University of Vienna), Institute of Economic, Social and Entrepreneurial History (University of Graz), and Institutes of History in Innsbruck, Klagenfurt and Salzburg.
