Identität(en) und Moderne in Zentraleuropa. Bericht über den 12. Workshop des SFB Moderne in Sarajevo (Mai 2003)

Autoren

Werner Suppanz,  Graz

The workshop addressed the concept of 'identity' and criticisms of the concept from different standpoints (memory theory, hybridity, etc.) in theoretical contributions. Further, empirical case studies of identity constructs in central Europe around 1900 were considered. One major aim of the event was to foster the debate on the relevance of the question of identity in the concrete context of Sarajevo.
