Ulbandus XIII: The Wound and the Imagination - Aesthetics of Violence in Slavic Art

Für die nächste Ausgabe der Zeitschrift Ulbandus – The Slavic Review of Columbia University werden Beiträge zum Problemstellung der Gewalt in künsterischen Medien gesucht. Die Beiträge können Texte aus verschiedenen Zeitabschnitten sein, gewünscht sind Essays, die sich mit Film, Musik und visuellen Künsten beschäftigen. Poetische und fiktionale Beiträge sind darüber hinaus ebenso erwünscht wie Übersetzungen, Photografien und künstlerische Arbeiten. Beiträger außerhalb der slawischen Diszplinen sind ebenfalls eingeladen zu partizipieren.
Deadline: 01. Juni 2009.
For the upcoming issue of Ulbandus – The Slavic Review of Columbia University submissions that relate to the problem of violence and the artistic medium are seeked. Submissions can treat texts from any period and inter-disciplinary essays that treat film,
music and the visual arts are encouraged. In addition to scholarly articles, Ulbandus
encourages submission of original poetry, fiction, translations, photography and artwork.
Contributions from outside of the Slavic field are warmly invited.
