Beim Sternenlicht der Nichtexistierenden: Zur ideologiekritischen Interpretation des platonisierenden Antipsychologismus

Autoren

The article gives a detailed account of the Platonistic anti-psychologism as Bolzano, the early Brentano, Twardowski, Meinong, Husserl in his "Logical Enquiries", Frege, Russell at the turn of the century, and the early Wittegenstein represented it. Secondly, the article aims at a sociological and ideological critique of this attitude as well as of the traditional psychologism of the 18th century. The 19th and 20th century Platonism is understood as expression of - or better reaction to - the decline of the classical bourgeois values. Wittgenstein's "Tractatus" is shaped by elements of Platonistic as well as by a relativistic anti-psychologism based on behavioral phenomenology: thus, this work is interpreted as being a stark manifestation of the transition from the classical to the late bourgeois Weltanschauung; hence as a transition from the belief in eternal truths to the acceptance of the Use Theory of Meaning ("Gebrauchstheorie der Bedeutung") and its consequences.
